Ohhhhh crap, wompy wheels will be back soon.

The young man that died was not driving or in the Tesla. We are reaching out to the driver of the Tesla. Could be just the wheel that was broken.

Doesn’t look as though the SUV actually hit the Tesla.
Perhaps he just swerved Tesla avoid it after its wheel went slightly out of alignment?

Swerved to avoid Tesla?

“shut yer gob”
Tesla enthusiast.

The driver of the Tesla reported that the SUV hit him, bounced off, hit the left side of the tunnel, the right side of the tunnel, then started rolling over on its sides until it hit a guardrail. The driver of the SUV was thrown from his vehicle. What do we draw from that? Probably not buckled in a seat belt. He died at the hospital.

Wow. Wompy got here fast.

It may be Wompy.

So why is the Tesla undamaged if it was hit by the SUV?
How can the wheel get knocked backwards off the car if hit from behind by the speeding SUV?
Why did the entire suspension get ripped off without the wheel getting broken?
Isn’t it just possible that the suspension failed on the Tesla and the faster SUV had to swerve to avoid it?
The Tesla suspensions do seem to fail rather often.

Perhaps you should listen to whompy.
He may have a point.

the tesla was hit on the other side at the quarter panel and most likely made the tesla lose control and hit a raised curb and broke the wheel off idiot.

that’s why cops aim at the quarter panel when they are chasing someone.

A curb on a freeway?
That’s unusual.
And not even a broken spoke on the wheel?
M’kay.

I think you should let whompy have his say and then you can prove him wrong.
Isn’t that the purpose of a forum?

Well. Tesla forum deleted the thread as expected.
Just a comment about the Tesla supposedly hitting a curb and breaking the wheel off.
Do you see a curb in this photo?
